Things are much better! I don't know if it's just time or the end of the two colds we all had or the dairy free diet or a combination of everything, but our screaming all the time baby is now a happy, smiling, and LAUGHING bundle of fun. Of course not all the time, but his personality has really emerged and it's great.
He started half days at daycare this week and it's gone well - of course he hasn't figured out napping there yet but that will come with time. I'm going back M-W-F and have to go in super early on the train to get back in time for pick up. Tricky to time when his overnight feed is still all over the place, but that will get easier with time. I compiled the final draft of two papers before 10 am this Friday morning and it felt SO good.
It might be tough logistically but I think I'm going to be mentally much happier with some work and some Mumming. I missed his first laugh on Friday and rather than being fed up the video Rob sent me was sooooooo delightful that I was deliriously happy.
