There must be a larger proportion of unique street names in York than Bradford. Two days in and I am already up to 0.56%. A run round and round the village on a miserable rainy day.
Euan has been walking for a while now but today really took off with being independent and exploring the playground. It was so cool. He also dribbled a football the length of the kitchen after watching Justin play football on Something Special yesterday. Pretty impressive.

This was supposed to be a walk but I cheated and went for a sub 140 HR shuffle. It's much easier to do this where it's flat! I would like to do these more often and find the recovery state of zen I used to find during these runs - today it just felt a bit boring.
Rest day today. Just some yoga which turned out to be mostly breathing slowly. So that was probably good for me!
Does the percent complete on City Strides come from completed streets, or percent of nodes turned green? Because if the former it's much harder to much up in the UK as there are so many duplicated street names in each area. There are 16 Station Roads in the Bradford region, and I only completed one of them.

My last full day at Mum and Dad's house before we move on to much flatter pastures. So I hunted some elusive nodes and did a really big hill. It was tough going up but I felt good afterwards.

Up to Wilsden to tick off some more streets in my quest to get to 1% of Bradford before we leave. I made it! The valley looked glorious today, an inch of snow on all the branches. On the walk home afterwards I helped an old guy get his car out of the pub car park where he'd abandoned it. Luckily we had a salt box nearby and all he needed was some traction to stop the wheel spin.
I got to 1.01% of Bradford! Yey! With one more run to go.
