Beautiful run from home at The Gap up to Jolly's Lookout at Mt Nebo along South Boundary Road (dirt firetrail). This is a run I've wanted to do for a long time but never got around to it while living there. Stunning morning for it and it's a great trail - constantly climbing without any section being too intense. Service at the cafe could do with some improvement though.

Running 2:12:14 [3] 15.5 km (8:32 / km)

Barron Gorge National Park long run. Started at Douglas Track trailhead and had underestimated just how steep and slippery the trail would be. Enjoyed it a bit more once reaching the top of the main climb, but it was a real rainforest run. Learnt quickly not to even brush up against plants and vines - but still ended up with lots of spikes in me from lawyer vines etc.
