| Sluggish run around Cutteslowe Park. Couldn't really get the legs turning over very fast, and my left quad was quite sore from my huge cycling effort yesterday. In the three weeks since I last ran here the fields have turned from green to yellow, and the meadows are covered with flowers. Took a map out and looked at it every now and then as well. |

| Rode up to marshall at the BUSA 25. Wouldn't normally put this in as training, but given the present lack of anything else resembling training, plus the fact that my legs were sore afterwards, it made it in. |
Friday May 2 |

| Jog around the kidneys from the gym. Felt pretty reasonable, and managed to stave off my hunger by consuming a few mouthfulls of small, flying insects. |

| 5 mins or so knee strengthening, then some rowing, weights and ab stuff. Took it all very easy. |
