Did about 90 mins first up with my sis on linear park. She had the slower bike so I didn't have to work much, but going up the short climbs my legs really hurt!

This 30 mins was just from town up to a house I was checking out in Highbury. Feeling a bit better by the end.

Had planned to do the 6 hour rogainne today, but it wasn't to be. Instead ran over Olave Hill, through Belair NP to Brownhill Creek and Mitcham. Wasn't in any particular hurry, especially on the slippery downhills, and although didn't feel flash managed to survive surprisingly OK.

Felt like exercise today, but not cycling or running. Didn't really have any other options though so rode down to the airport via Brighton and the beach to look at the new shops.

Thought I'd probably miss the train on the way home so decided to ride instead. Still having gym yearnings though. A bit harder than the way down, and finishing up Shepherd's Hill again. I find it a strangely enjoyable hill to ride up ...

Feeling sufficiently stuffed at end of intervals.

Around the block - Main Road, Cherry Gardens Road, Ackland Hill Road. Pushed it a bit on the back straight, concentrating on pedalling action.

Monday Jun 16

Easy run up at the waterholes checking courses for Sus. Felt like I was orienteering really badly for some reason, and started to get blisters again. Stopped twice to rearrange my shoes, but after 35 mins gave up, took off my shoes and walked back to the start. It was really painful and I didn't want to stuff my feet up again, especially with the 6hr coming up this weekend. Sus reckons it's because the ankle braces change the shape of your shoes to push into the heels, which seems like a good explanation to me. Not quite sure what I can do about it though.
