I went for a supposedly fast run today but felt not good and full of lunch still and had a dog following me and I spent most of my time trying to shoo it away. not real good altogether.

orienteering race 55:00 [4] 4.5 km (12:13 / km)

This run wasn't great, I was pretty slow running and i stuffed up one control pretty badly coz i didn't take notice that i'd been veering off a compass bearing even though i knew that i was and when i got to the right spur i was looking down low even though i knew i should be looking up higher. Stupid mistake that i won't make at schools in a week. Apart from that I spiked most other controls with only a few seconds lost on a couple of them. Hopefully I've gotten all the stupidness out of me in preparation for schools. Need to wear less constricting pants in order to run faster.
