Orienteering 1:04:42 [3] 5.3 mi (12:12 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Swerve (Orange)

@ University of MD, College Park.

Fun! Though I much prefer the woods orienteering, even though I'm terrible-er at it. I knew I was overdressed by the 2nd control. I want to dress for the calendar date and what the weather should be and not the actual weather. Other people were in shorts, I should have followed their example.

I haven't been running at woods orienteering recently, honestly because it feels discouraging to run around lost and expend all that extra energy when I need all my blood to to go to my brain, but there was no excuse not to run here, so I did. Glad to be out of the house which was still full of turkey day houseguests & spend some time outside.

I went south first going to 132 and then looping counter clockwise leaving 124 to the end which was a long leg from 123, but now that I look at it, I maybe should have gone 131 then to 124 making more of a spiral shape leaving the 132/133 to the end. Or maybe not, it looks pretty long from 123 to 118.
