spent extra time b/c I was staring at my neck wondering if the rash I saw was lyme. hmmm, doc said it didn't look quite right & I agree that it's just a spider bite or something, but it doesn't mean I don't want to take the antibiotics... I do, but I'm trying to follow my own mantra of less is more. Will keep an eye on it for a week (how can I not? it's on the front of my neck)

Tomorrow do a hard-charging 5-mile hill workout. Strength stuff Wed and Fri. Easy 5 Thurs, followed by 10 striders on grass without sneakers. Easy 4 Sat. Can you do the canal run on Sun--7 miles at 9-min pace, weather permitting?

workout - 7 @ 9 min

Soupy! Ugh, I want to run this workout by feel, but it's been so long since I've consistently done a long run on the C & O, I can't really feel out the effort for the whole seven miles & I need to compensate for the hot/humid weather, but I'm no good at that either right now.

Went out too fast, had to stop at 5 miles and walk/jog the rest in.

10:11 / 9:03 / 8:55 / 8:55 / 9 (? messed up my watch...)
