Scrapped the quarter workout

4 miles easy on treadmill. trying to suss out the foot/arch/heel thing-y. I could still feel it, once it was kind of sharp, by the end of the run, it was warmed up and felt pretty good - but still off.

Bob was in town, so I moved the workout to later this week to run with him. Was suppose to go 4 miles easy, but somewhere in the 3rd mile felt a sharp twinge in my left foot heel/arch. Ended up walking most of the way home which felt fine, but when I tried to start jogging, it would come back. Now it's a few hours later, I can sometime feel it walking and sometimes it feels like nothing. I'll push the workout to further out in the week.

Monday Jan 15 #

(rest day)

P's note:

Tomorrow 8x400 in 100 sec. Thurs and Sat easy 4-5. Sun, run an easy warm up mile then do 5 at 8:45 pace (if the weather is freaky, don't worry about the time; just go for effort).

Sunday Jan 14 #

Running long 1:10:00 [3] 7.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyperspeed 6

@ Rockville swim

14 degrees! I couldn't bear another long run outside at these temps, but I also really didn't want to do this on the treadmill. So I procrastinated, but I got to the gym at 10 am

1 mile w/u then 6 @ 9:05
