Third short course event. It was a tricky course so couldn't run very fast.I messed up no1 because it was so close to the start so I wasn't used to the map yet. I didn't make any major mistakes but wasted time close to the controls. I wasn't happy with my run but I came about 5th. Tania won in 24mins Jess L was the only junior girl that beat me.

Scouts BP Sunday score event at Emmarentia. We started at the scout hall and went to Alberts farm. I got 150 points out of the possible 250. My timing was pretty good as I got in with 2mins to spare. I took one nasty route choice through some long grass but otherwise my route was good

Jogged to Possles park, did 6x 110m hill runs. The grass was quite long which made it a bit tricky. I then ran home

Not sure about the time. We walked/ran a 4km route. There are some mean hills. We ran down Roberts, up marathon, along highland, up the stairs to a war memorial. It's on top of a hill so you can almost see the whole of Joburg. We then went past Jeppe boys and down robberts. My legs are quite tired.
