The roads were surprisingly quiet for a Friday afternoon. My throat was dry but otherwise I felt reasonable.

I'm not feeling full of beans again but I cycled while watching the 18th stage of the tour. I'm looking forward to the time trial on Saturday.

Midrand Striders 5km fun run. I've got a bit of a sore throat but I really wanted to run so planned to take it easy. It was a mean course starting on top of a hill. Good hill training. The only flat part was on the track at the end. I ran with Jess the whole way and we had a good chat. I'm not sure my max heart rate is right (at least I hope it isn't).
