Always enjoy running here! The first 9 controls went very well and I had good map contact. Was slightly hesitant going into #10 - didn't have a solid attackpoint and the control was placed a bit lower down than I expected. Things started going pear shaped when I caught Steph at #11. I started rushing to get away. Was a bit left to #12. A huge group of people (~10) converged on #14. I rushed to get away and my exit angle was bad. The whole group seemed to follow me so I was pretty confident I was right. Horrible parallel error! Ended up relocating off the gate in the fence. Did a few circles around the control before finding it - flag had fallen off which didn't help. I managed to pull myself together after that but I'd wasted a lot of energy looking for #15 so I didn't enjoy the last loop which had lots of road running.

Happy with my focus while I was running solo today but really need to work on not getting so distracted and flustered when I'm running with people.
Didn't feel great physically. On the plus side my shin was fine once I'd warmed up.

Michele had a great run winning in 54 mins! Salome was 4 sec ahead of me in 2nd.
