Big Bay parkrun
That was hilarious. It was pouring, the wind was pumping and there was just no hard sand to run on. Slowest 5km ever, and believe it or not I was actually trying pretty hard!
I've ticked off all the parkruns I can in these parts. New one in Worster next weekend, then I'll just revisit some of my favourite ones before hopefully hitting up a more remote one on the drive back to Joburg.

Princess Vlei
Cool area with a some interesting thickets and dune sections with a few legs through the residential area. Board controls so quite a few hesitations in the circle. Otherwise pretty smooth. Not moving very fast though. Was a bit tired of running through soft sand by the end.
Superb job by Bruce. Loads of people from the local community! Need more events like this.

Gun Run.
Felt much better than I expected. Just kept it comfortable the whole way. Kept waiting for my legs to start dying but they held up well. Happy to run under 2 hours. Weather was good and I really enjoyed the route.
