Running (Soft) 2:28:56 [3] 19.94 km (7:28 / km) +438m 6:44 / km

Absolute mare. Started in Loweswater, ran along the side of Crumock round the top of Buttermere and back to Buttermere village. Then tried to cut through to Enerdale past flouten tarn. Started to get really windy and haily and somehow I manged to turn around completely and go down the same way I had come up. The the torch ran out of battery and I hadn't a clue where I was because there was no road by the lake as there should have been in Ennderdale. The back to start thing on my watch said I was only 4k south of where I started so I assumed I was by Buttermere. Decided to run to the hotel and ask to borrow a phone. The nice chap gave me some tea and biscuits while I waited for mum to come and collect me.
