Indoor rock climbing w/ Troy and Mike. Having a third person in the mix seems to lead to having more endurance (since there's more rest time in between routes). Eight routes: 5.9, 5.9, 5.10-, 5.10-, 5.10, 5.10, 5.10, 5.10- Several hours of rain this evening might scuttle our plans for a trail run tomorrow...(more MUD!).
Thursday Mar 8 | ||

| A good lunchtime game, 6v6. It was very windy -- the weather seems to be changing. | ||
Wednesday Mar 7 | ||

| A nice jog at Marshall Mesa, starting at the new trailhead.
I meant to just do an easy run, since I have a soccer game tonight. But, I forgot how steep this trail is at the beginning (I guess that's why it's called a "mesa"). It turned out to be enjoyable, so, instead of cutting it back to two miles (which is what was going through my head after the first 15 minutes or so), I extended it to four miles. Great weather....and VERY LITTLE MUD!
| Soccer intervals (indoor) 38:00 [3] | ||
|
A good game (meaning, we only lost by three goals instead of double digits). Lots of running...it was fun.
Tuesday Mar 6 | ||
| Soccer (outdoor) 1:15:00 [2] | ||
| slept:10.0 weight:124lbs | ||
| Perfect weather and a fun game -- although there were too many people (9v9 on a small field), so I didn't do as much running as I'd like. Still, it was fun. Now I'm back in my cubicle... | ||
Sunday Mar 4 | ||
| Run / Hike hills 42:24 [3] 2.73 mi (15:31 / mi) +285m 7:17 / km | ||

| A jog at Castle Rock with Troy and Coco. We went up and down twice, with two laps around the top each time. This was a short run, but with about 400' of elevation gain in a half mile. (We only went about two-thirds of the way down the second time, to avoid the ankle-deep mud at the start of the trail.) Perfect weather. | ||
