Green course on Day 1 of the Colorado Five-Day Meet. One dumb error at #9, but otherwise OK.

Day 1 Green 1 - Splits

Friday Aug 3

Event: 2007 USOF Convention and Colorado 5-Days

Thursday Aug 2

Soccer intervals (outdoor) 30:00 [3]

This was the last game of our summer outdoor season. It was a good game, but we ended up 0-0.

Wednesday Aug 1

Soccer intervals (outdoor) 45:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:124lbs
Lunchtime soccer. Holy cow -- I haven't played at lunchtime in quite a while, and I thought I was going to pass out in the heat. Ugh.

Tuesday Jul 31

Run / Hike hills (Walk / Jog) 3:08:59 [3] ** 5.75 mi (32:51 / mi) +1000m 13:15 / km
slept:8.0 weight:124lbs
Everything about this hike was fun, except that I was really stressed about getting back to my car before dark. It was almost pitch-black by the time I got back -- and every shadow, bush, rock, and tree stump looked like a bear or mountain lion (both of which are not uncommon in that area). I felt really stupid for underestimating the time required and getting myself in that situation...

But otherwise it was really fun, and a beautiful area. I hiked up Fern Canyon to Bear Peak (8,461'), then down via Shadow Canyon & the Mesa Trail.

Next time, I'll start a wee bit earlier than 6pm. ;-)

Map.
Note
After getting back from the airport at midnight yesterday, I couldn't muster the motivation to get up early and get myself to Laramie for the training meets up there. I had planned to be there today and tomorrow; maybe that was too ambitious. But I'm disappointed to have to miss it...
