I think vmeyer will get a good laugh out of my GPS tracks when I post them next week...

Long story short -- I never found #6, and I was somewhere in the vicinity of #8 by the time I had even the vaguest idea of where I might be on the map. So I DNF'd... (Troy's split on #6 was 1:06:21, for context.)

Weather was perfect, at least.

Update: OK, here are the tracks. Sigh... I really liked the leg from #3 to #4 where I was corralled in a slot canyon the whole way. Hard to go wrong there.

  • Jump-rope & dynamic warm-up.

  • Burgener warm-up & some reps to warm up on hang squat clean (10-8-8-5-5). Max weight was 65#.

  • For time: 21-15-9 of hang squat clean (50#) / ring dips (I substituted bench dips since there weren't enough rings). 8:25.
