Oof -- I was REALLY sucking wind on this entire course. I will blame it on the altitude (9,000')...and donating blood earlier in the week...and (mainly) my general lack of exercise / fitness lately. :-P On a few of the uphills near the end, I was forcing myself to go 20 paces at a time without stopping. Sheesh. :-P

I had small bobbles in a few places and a big error looking for #3, but it was challenging and fun overall.

Long Night-O at Buena Vista. I was pretty happy with this. I felt pretty accurate (and my tracks reflect that), but I was almost always just walking (and Troy thought it was an easy course). I was mostly on my own, or trying to stay ahead of someone, but there was more of a pack near the end (#11, #12).

MTB -- out and back from home: powerline bike path, Coal Creek trail, through old-town Superior, Singletree-Mayhofer trail, Cowdrey Draw trail, Marshall Mesa trail. Turned around at Hwy 93. Perfect overcast weather, blustery at times, with some sprinkles of rain only in the last mile. Got to see the Bolder Boulder F-18 flyover (from a distance).
