Orienteering race (Red course) 1:56:35 [3] 6.23 mi (18:43 / mi) +860ft 16:33 / mi
slept:6.0 shoes: Salomon Speedcross (2014)

"Colorado State Games" at Fox Run.

The Red course was comprised of two loops: Orange + Green. Navigation was easy-ish overall, but I managed to have some brain lapses on the second loop; I will blame the heat and my exhaustion: inefficient bearing #10 to 11, turned the wrong way when I hit the trail near #17, and then got totally turned around on my way to #20 -- couldn't make sense of my compass or anything on the map.

But I got a medal anyway, since there was only one other person in my category. :-P
