- Jogged a half mile to warm up.

- 6 x 1000m @ 10K race pace with ~90 seconds recovery in between. Average pace: 9:10, 8:40, 9:26, 9:05, 9:30, 9:03 (out was slightly uphill, back was slightly downhill).

- Jogged one mile to cool down.

I *really* wanted to finish ahead of Sharon, but she got me by ~70 seconds. DAMMIT! ;-)

The AP splits graph shows that I was ahead of her until I spaced out and wasted time on what should have been a very easy control (#9, dry ditch in wide-open field). My tracks show a dumb / inefficient route choice to #18 -- I was definitely brain-dead and exhausted by that point. :-P
