I had the day off from work (using up the PTO we're not allowed to carry over from year to year...), so I planned a long run at an easy pace with some hills: starting in Superior, Singletree-Mayhoffer trail west to Cowdrey Draw / Community Ditch / Marshall Mesa, out and back for a total of eight miles.
But...my stomach started to act up near my 4-mile turnaround point. I decided I'd be a lot happier for the return trip if I could visit the bathroom at the western trailhead -- but that turned out to be farther away than I remembered. Oof. So this turned out to be a 10-mile run.
But, since I was going at a comfortable pace and the return trip has a lot of downhill, it wasn't so bad.
PERFECT weather (clear, sunny, 50s), and no aches or pains -- yay.
