LoCO FIT workout at Davidson Mesa. Our weather is turning, and the strong stench of Greeley Weld County on the easterly wind was hard to take.

- Ran one mile to warm up.

- 10 x (2 minutes @ 5K pace / 2 minutes walking recovery). On the last rep, I tried to keep up with Sara (one of the speedy ones); I did it, but it hurt... :-P Avg pace: 7:43, 8:14, 7:54, 8:10, 7:41, 7:43, 7:35, 7:29, 7:49, 6:48.

- Ran one mile to cool down.

And then I found my barbell in the basement when I got home...

- 10 x 33# back squats.

- 10 x 33# overhead press.

Rest day -- unpacking and catching up on work & sleep (got home from the airport around 11pm last night and then worked for a few hours on something I was supposed to finish on Friday...).

"2018" Masters Nationals -- Day 2 of 2.

Again today, I felt like most of my navigation was sound, with some dumb mistakes:

* Going into #2, I knew I didn't have an attackpoint -- I even said that to myself several times, but I just kept plowing ahead until I found myself wandering around on the ridge. I eventually relocated off of a pit.

* Inefficient leaving #5 (not sure why I went so high into the woods).

* Off-kilter near #10.

Today's map seemed less steep and more open, and I enjoyed the course -- maybe my favorite of the three days.

I ended up 4th out of six in F45. Oh well.
