My plan was to do a 10-mile trail run, out-and-back from Superior to Hwy 93.

I started on the Mayhoffer-Singletree trail and headed east. But, when I got to the Cowdrey Draw trail at 66th Street at 2.6 miles in, the gate was locked due to "mud" (which is hard to believe, given how bone-dry the other trails were) -- so I turned around. Maybe I was slightly relieved... When I got back to my starting point, I did an extra bit of distance & climb by heading south on the Meadowlark Trail, but I still didn't get in the full 10 miles.

p.s. I think I kinda hate these trail shoes -- my feet hurt and I had unpleasant toe hot-spots for most of this run.

LoCO FIT breakfast run starting from Otis Coffee in Lafayette -- easy out-and-back on the Coal Creek Trail. A beautiful morning with birds and prairie dogs chirping!

Plan for the rest of today: shop-vac the garage floor (winter road grime -- gravel and dirt); finish unpacking from West Point trip (suitcase is still sitting half-full in my living room, and I just remembered / discovered the plastic bag full of wet shoes and socks -- gross); bake treats to take to Cinco de Mayo / 50th birthday party tomorrow (Mexican Chocolate Icebox Cookies); and attend a friend's flute-bassoon-piano concert.

Out and back on the Coal Creek Trail.

Splitting headache (caffeine withdrawal + jaw clenching / teeth grinding + too much screen time at work without glasses on). Also, my hands went numb and my "sit bones" were in pain for the last ~five miles.

But otherwise this was great. ;-)

It's cold (~40°F) and rainy again, but I couldn't handle a third consecutive day of sloth...

Runners Roost group run -- Dillon Rd, golf course, Coal Creek trail, Cherry St, bike path, and then back on Dillon.

I skipped the beer & food afterwards in favor of a hot bath at home.

I had lots of RMOC crapola to catch up on...so I skipped my usual Monday night yoga class.

Cherry Creek meet:
- Posted overall results.
- Uploaded XML splits to Attackpoint.
- Uploaded photos from Gøril.
- Data entry for volunteer list.

Bear Creek Lake Park meet:
- Posted Sverre's course details; adjusted pre-reg deadline.
- Created volunteer sign-up sheet.
- Located adult & minor release forms for City of Lakewood; updated them with 2019 meet details.
- Responded to Galen's questions about meet logistics.
- Added WOD link & info to meet details page.

Manitou meet:
- Created volunteer sign-up sheet.
- Added WOD link & info to meet details page.

General:
- Drafted an HTML email with links and photos for the RMOC list.
- Located and uploaded photos to go with "member news" features.
- Email follow-ups (Parker permanent course, Laramie 2019?, 2020 national event?).
