Run / Hike 20:00 [3] 1.0 mi (20:00 / mi)
slept:8.0 weight:122.2lbs

Walked to & from the rec center, with an extra loop around my neighborhood. It has been snowing for a few hours but there's no wind and it's still relatively warm (30°F) -- so it's pleasant outside.

Does a coating of snow have acoustical qualities making everything seem quieter? I'm sure J-J or Rudy would know the answer to that... :-)

Cycling 40:00 [3]

Run / Hike long 1:24:59 [3] 8.03 mi (10:35 / mi) +267ft 10:16 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2019)

LSD...emphasis on the "S". From home -- east through Daughenbaugh to the Coal Creek Trail, and then southwest to Superior. Back the same way.

I had planned to taper off my running miles after the Possum Trot, to give my slightly injured feet a rest (left ankle still stiff and slightly swollen from August sprain; intermittent deep burning sensation in left big-toe joint; and painful knot in left arch, from Possum Trot rock encounter).

But on a day this nice (sunny & almost 60°F), in a season when I'm eating so much, it's hard to be idle.

* Last night: Simon & Charlotte's Cheese & Chocolate party.
* Tonight: "Friendsgiving" meal + cranberry-apple gallette I've been saving since this morning's bakery visit.
* Wednesday: beer & bar food with my running group.
* Thursday: inevitable over-indulgence.

Run / Hike 36:07 [3] 3.18 mi (11:21 / mi) +145ft 10:53 / mi
slept:9.0 weight:121.3lbs shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2019)

Today would have been a great day for a long run -- sunny, 50°F -- but I felt like I could barely eke out these three miles. Maybe I'm still feeling the effects of Wednesday's tempo run and Thursday's squats, lunges, etc.

Walked to & from the rec center. Almost wiped out on ice multiple times.

Strength / Stretching 1:00:00 [3]

Strength Training for Runners class -- a good session.

Run / Hike 58:11 [3] 6.01 mi (9:41 / mi) +215ft 9:22 / mi
slept:7.0 weight:121.6lbs shoes: Salomon Speedcross (2017-Turq)

Weekly Runners Roost group run.

There was heavy, wet snow at the start, but I had on the right layers and it was pleasant once I got going -- very nice & quiet out on the trails after leaving the road.

I needed just under six miles to get the 100-Mile Club t-shirt, so that was my goal. I started with some of the slightly faster ladies and tried to keep that same pace on my own after they headed back.

From Murphy's Tap House -- east on Dillon Rd, through the St. Andrews neighborhood, east on the Coal Creek Trail until I hit 3.0, and then back the same way.

Fantastic black cherry Moscow Mule afterwards, and I managed to not order any junky bar food. :-)

Strength Training for Runners class. I was feeling tired and also had too many late-afternoon snacks, so I kinda half-assed it.
