Strength / Stretching 1:00:00 [3]
slept:3.0 weight:122.6lbs

$5 "happy hour" class at Yoga Junction. Apparently there's a different instructor / style every week. Today it was "intuitive movement" -- no flow or specific guidance, just "maybe you want to do this, maybe you want to do that", etc. It was OK, but not a class I would seek out again.

Also, there was a guy whose BO stunk up the whole room as soon as he walked in.

slept:7.0 weight:123.3lbs shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2019)

Runners Roost Group Run -- first one of 2020.

My training plan said "4-5 miles". But...the dinner crew was only doing three miles (and they're all faster than me), and my head was still hurting from two hours of dental work earlier today (had FIVE fillings replaced). So I just did four miles -- mainly so I wouldn't be late to dinner.

From the store, up McCaslin, two loops around Harper Lake, and then back down McCaslin.

A bit of wind (of course) but not cold.

Early morning meetup with a few others from the LoCO FIT group. It wasn't too cold, but the wind was awful (we've had several days of terrible wind...).

- Ran one mile around the park to warm up.

- 10 x (2 minutes at 5k pace + 2 minutes walk/jog recovery). We started on the Dutch Creek Trail, headed out to Daughenbaugh, did one loop around Warembourg Pond, and then went back the same way.

- Ran one lap around the park to cool down.

Run / Hike 17:13 [3] 1.12 mi (15:23 / mi) +46ft 14:48 / mi

Late-night neighborhood walk. I ran a bit b/c it was cold and I just wanted to get it done (aiming to walk or run at least one mile every day this month).

I was not excited about this morning's LoCO FIT breakfast run location (east on the Coal Creek trail -- which means a long uphill return trip), so I slept late (which I needed) and did some Louisville Loops on my own in the afternoon: Arboretum, Harper Lake, and Davidson Mesa.

There were tons of people out-and-about (excellent weather? enthusiastic resolutioners?). The Davidson Mesa parking lot was full, as was the overflow lot across the street, and there were even more cars parked along Washington Ave.

While I was out, someone left stupid packets of newspaper ads (aka unwanted litter) in front of all the garage doors in my building. I collected them all, dumped all the papers into the recycling dumpster, and put the plastic sleeves in the dog-poop-bag dispenser in the greenbelt. I feel like I have done my good deed for the day.
