Still feeling *really* sore from Thursday's plyo. Yesterday's yoga might have made it worse (lots of "chair pose" squats).

This was an easy three miles for my high school's virtual 5K fund raiser.

I will not be "racing" tomorrow's 10K if I'm still this sore...

My knee is still sore, but tolerable and getting better -- until I banged the swollen, bruised part directly into the corner of a wooden chair today. It's a good thing I work at home, alone, because I yelped and rolled around on the floor in intense pain for several minutes.

Also, finally spotted a wedding ring on a certain racquetball player of interest at the rec center tonight. Sad trombone... :-P

I procrastinated a tiny bit on a work project (and it ended up taking way longer than I expected), so I got up on Sunday morning, started working on it, and...stayed awake until I finished at about 9am on Monday morning. Then I had so many meetings and other tasks* that I didn't get to bed until about 11 pm on Monday night. Needless to say...no exercise of any kind today. :-\

*In addition to "real" work, I spent about four hours finding and deleting or transferring all kinds of personal files on my work laptop that I had moved over from two previous laptops but never got around to organizing (about five years worth of stuff -- photos, RMOC junk, etc.) I probably triggered an IT security alert somewhere while I was uploading GBs of data to my cloud storage area...but I felt like I better get it done b/c I don't have a good feeling about my job these days (unexpected new manager as of a few weeks ago; a re-org in progress that I won't learn the details of until a meeting in Dallas next week; lots of vague management references to how all of our work is going to change; etc.)

The rec center doesn't have many classes on Sundays -- and the only three offered in the afternoon don't appeal to me (Zumba, Family Fitness, and Water Aerobics...).

So I was excited hear that my favorite rec center yoga teacher (Becky) would be teaching at the Yoga Junction studio on Sundays at 4pm. I was planning on that for this afternoon -- until I saw that the drop-in price is $17. Holy cow. Even with a 10-punch pass, it's still $13.50 per visit. Ay caramba. I guess that's typical, but I'm spoiled by the rec center drop-in rate ($5.75 per day, for whatever classes & activities I want to do while I'm there).

So I went for a night-time walk instead.
