Thursday Mar 19 #

Run / Hike hills 1:12:40 [3] 6.07 mi (11:58 / mi) +477ft 11:09 / mi
slept:7.0 weight:117.6lbs shoes: Saucony Peregrine (2018)

It was V-E-R-Y hard to get myself out the door to do this LoCO FIT workout alone (heavy snow, unplowed sidewalks & paths, etc.). But it actually wasn't all that cold (31°F), and there wasn't any wind.

- Ran one mile to warm up.

- Rec Center hill loop progression x 4.

- Ran a bit more to cool down.

Wednesday Mar 18 #

Run / Hike 33:35 [3] 3.02 mi (11:07 / mi) +143ft 10:39 / mi
slept:7.0 weight:116.8lbs shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2020)

Easy neighborhood run (the weekly Runners Roost group runs are cancelled, obviously...). My left achilles is starting to twinge / hurt, so I walked the last uphill section.

Tuesday Mar 17 #

Run / Hike tempo 57:23 [3] 5.53 mi (10:23 / mi) +139ft 10:08 / mi
slept:7.0 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2020)

LoCO FIT workout at Davidson Mesa...on my own, without the rest of the crew (group workouts are cancelled at least through the end of the month). :-\

- Ran one mile to warm up.

- Four-mile progression run (9:44, 9:29, 9:06, 8:29).

- Walked & jogged a half mile to cool down.

Monday Mar 16 #

Cycling 1:10:10 [3] 11.06 mi (6:21 / mi) +521ft 6:04 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Safire

Outdoor spin class...aka riding my bike.

The weather was nice at first but then it started to get cloudy and cold, and I finished with frozen fingers.

I still have a bad headache (third day), but no fever.

Sunday Mar 15 #

Strength / Stretching 1:00:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:116.9lbs

Becky's yoga class -- live-streamed online.

I've had a headache for the past two days, which I'm attributing it to caffeine withdrawal, stress over classwork I procrastinated on, and staring at a screen for way too many hours this weekend to get the homework done. (It was due tonight at 11:59 pm...and I submitted at 11:45 pm. Winning!) :-P

Saturday Mar 14 #

Run / Hike 1:08:25 [3] 6.32 mi (10:50 / mi) +228ft 10:28 / mi
slept:8.0 weight:116.4lbs shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2020)

Just six miles on the training plan today...easy pace. Davidson Mesa & Harper Lake.

Friday Mar 13 #

Note

The local rec center is now closed (so no yoga class), I didn't feel up for running for a fourth day in a row (in the crappy cold & snowy weather, with six miles on my plan for tomorrow), and I had to take a midterm for my Python class. No workout today.
