I haven't been sticking very closely to the weekend long-run assignments in my training plan (bad weather, laziness, etc.), so I did eight miles today instead of nine, to be careful about not ramping up my mileage too quickly.

Out and back from Founders Park in Superior -- Mayhoffer-Singletree / Cowdrey Draw / Community Ditch. Great weather and zillions of mountain bikers (and a few other hikers / runners).

Chilly & rainy -- very hard to get motivated to leave the house, especially knowing I'd be doing the workout alone (I started early so I could get to class on time -- the group caught me on my last lap).

I had my buff over my face for warmth at first (it was that cold & windy), but I eventually took off not only the buff but also my windbreaker. And there was a nice wet-prairie-grass smell along the trail after it stopped raining.

- Aquarius Hill "up & overs" x 44 minutes (three round trips).

- Ran 0.75 to cool down.
