Orienteering race 1:14:43 [4] 6.3 km (11:52 / km) +280m 9:42 / km

I had some mild form of the flu and it really slowed me down after the first few controls. Made one major navigational error and one minor one, but hit the other controls perfectly.

Friday May 19, 2017 #

Running intervals 40:00 [4] 4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Ran 3 miles at a 6:40 mile pace then hit the track for a pyramid work out of 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 200m, 100m. We ran each at a 15 second 100m pace with a 1:20 break between each.

Moderate 4 mile jog.

Wednesday May 17, 2017 #

Running 2:06 [5] 0.8 km (2:37 / km)

Ran the last leg in the 4x800m relay and did alright with a time of 2:06. Didn't tie my spikes tight enough and that resulted in a blister the size of a quarter on my left foot.

Running race 2:14 [5] 0.8 km (2:47 / km)

Ran the open 800m, and absolutely died on the second lap.

Easy 3 mile jog in preparation for Conference.

Monday May 15, 2017 #

Running 40:00 [3] 3.5 mi (11:26 / mi)

Ran three miles then a quick 300m, 200m, 100m sprint. Gearing up for conference this Wednesday where I'll run the 4x800m relay then open 800m.
