PT 25:00 [5]

Air Force Academy Fitness Test. 15 pull-ups, 53 push-ups in 2 minutes, 83 sit-ups in 2 minutes, 82' kneeling basketball throw, and 8.5s shuttle run.

Running race 5:43 [4] 1.0 mi (5:43 / mi)

Air Force Academy Fitness Test. Ran a mile in absolutely frigid conditions with no warm up. Needless to say, I did not do so hot.

Running tempo 8:40 [4] 1.5 mi (5:47 / mi)

Ran a timed 1.5 mile run. Lack of sleep and physical fatigue affected my time.

PT 25:00 [3]

On a field trip to Parris Island, SC where Marine recruits are trained. The whole trip was filled with physical exercise, but we did 25 minutes worth of pushups, crunches, and various other exercises to start the day off.

Orienteering race 44:20 [4] 3.9 km (11:22 / km) +210m 8:57 / km

Very poor race at a NJROTC meet at Kings Landing Park. I caved into my perceived pressure to preform well and my orienteering greatly suffered. I failed to keep good contact with my map.

Orienteering 28:00 [4] 3.8 km (7:22 / km) +100m 6:31 / km

Competed in a six man score-o team which took first at the NJROTC meet. I fixed my previous mistakes and ran fast and clean.
