Poor planning, miscommunication, and personal irresponsibility resulted in all of 2 minutes to warm up for my 1000m race. Ran a solid 2:09 800m but the cold and lack of warm-up caught up to me on the last 200m.

Event: QOC McKeldin

Did some contour focused training with Boris and the Mid-Atlantic team before the McKeldin meet.

Orienteering race 1:09:00 [3] 7.4 mi (9:19 / mi) +270m 8:23 / mi

Red Course at McKeldin. Had issues with my shoes sliding on my feet, causing blisters. My hipflexer was protesting the whole way. Slowed down towards the end to accommodate for these problems. Navigationally speaking, I was below average.
