Running 39:45 [4] 8.74 km (4:33 / km)
shoes: Adistar Boost

Route: Racecourse (Hill First)

Left inner lower leg felt awfull so tried to keep it slow. Ended up at a 4.20 pace so that failed. I feel like I've only just started pushing myself to paces that I didnt think I was fit enough to reach.

Also joined the athletics club as apparently you cant turn up without paying

Running 46:43 [4] 10.2 km (4:35 / km)
shoes: Adistar Boost

Very pleased with my pace - wouldnt have been able to run that fast at the start of the year. Also had enough to speed up near the end. It was a new route and I ended up in the faster pack (at the back of it).

Route: back of uni, windmill lane, tang hall, railway cycle path, york minster, back down the river, mel bridge. (Very Flat)

Orienteering race 1:09:56 [4] 9.52 km (7:21 / km)
shoes: Inov8

Hollicars Regional - Brown

First time I felt training was paying off. Obviously not amazingly quick but kept on running at a solid pace. The area was not very runnable with brambles but very flat.

Got disqualified due to missing a control. It was probably due to the fact that my improvised (safety pin) control description holder was upside down.

Need to work on my inner circle navigation and control flow - too many times I didn't notice the control next to me.
