Orienteering 27:29 intensity: (6 @0) + (18 @1) + (1:12 @2) + (2:52 @3) + (13:32 @4) + (9:29 @5) 6.63 km (4:09 / km) +1m 4:08 / km

Back in the game with the loop #2 at King’s Hedges. A total deviation between all reps of 1.9 seconds - that seems like a good thing?
I took some maps that the guys did in Italy, including the crazy fortress one. Practising trying to be more purposeful when reading the map - what am I actually picking up, how am I making decisions etc.
Got round to watching the weekend’s races last night. Some interesting observations to be had, but mainly I didn’t clock that the Regbot’s 10 second fastest split on the long leg could have been even quicker if he hadn’t missed ~4 secs heading to the wrong steps at the start. The man is a machine.

Running 8:47 intensity: (5 @1) + (7:18 @2) + (1:24 @3) 1.71 km (5:08 / km) +6m 5:03 / km
ahr:139 max:146 shoes: Nike Pegasus 39 #3

Down.
