Was feeling a bit tired from yesterday’s efforts and an extremely early start today for helping. Did a small banana to #3 when I mismatched the reentrant but not too bad.
#4 was not good at all. Basically jumped a spur on the map in my head and then nothing made sense with no real sense of distance. Found a control and after a cheeky bit of help realised I had a LONG way to go- what a slog. Lost a lot of unnecessary height but at least I was never going in the wrong direction.
After that was ok just very tough going physically on the hill. Took a decent route to #18 and was fine to the finish, if a bit tired....

1st on M18 4.2km

Pretty decent nav wise, bit of a scrap at #3 and some grot on the way to #2. Played it safe going down the hill and was fine. Bit of a grind to the finish. Decent race on a good area

With grace @ livi. Was moving well, just trying to keep the form good at all times. Nasty headwind on first bend but at least it meant you could stretch out for the straights.
Also hr is maste dodgy, was working much harder than it lets on

Usual steady meadows slightly faster than usual. Lovely day so was highly enjoyable. No run tomorrow cos ive got something on so shifting ints to Friday.

Also was looking at the new WOC embargo updates- they’ve embargoed Inverleith Park?? I guess it’s for the botanics but not sure why the whole surrounding area is also embargoed.
Kinda buggers my interval training for next year and general training which sucks. Also gonna need to find a new way to the meadows before September as well.
So spare a thought for me, or don’t. In fact, don’t. Not worth it.
