SOL 1 @ Darnaway East
2 little bananas in the first half then caught louis to #14. Then absolutely yeeted myself down a dark green slope headfirst into a log and couldn’t really see for a bit so made sure I was fine before carrying on. Wasn’t a fan of the ankle snapping terrain at the end and wobbled my way to #23. Speaking of ankle it was struggling today, need to watch that. Either way, really enjoyed it even if I wasn’t going full gas after a tiring camp :)

Roseisle first leg relay sim with a big group. Great fun course with some good jostling. Lost the leaders towards the end when I jumped a control in my head. Very useful. Good stuff

Scottish nights @ Findhorn. Took it at a chill cruise pace. Fannied around in a woman’s garden at the start but dutifully went out the same way. Was very hesitant to #13 then got mugged off by the control descriptions for #17. Enjoyed. Not too extreme

Middle training @ Loch Vaa - such tasty skog, really enjoyed. 2 bananas and an overshoot but nothing major. Was enjoying the lack of snow and just navigating really well on compass for nearly all of it. Such a good area.

Took it at a decent but not too fast pace - trying to keep a lid on speed. Had a wee banana in the detailed paths, nice route on the long leg, then lost a bit of time when I miscounted roads. Decent on the whole

Ran to leisure centre to do intervals then a blizzard started. Hid under a bush waiting for it to pass then it turned into the type of hail that actually hurts and wouldn't stop so decided to not make myself ill and bailed. Good call
