Parked the car at Cargilfield then ran through the golf course and D mains up to the quarry, just to make it into more of a Sunday long run

SoSOL @ Corstorphine Hill - Brown 7.4km
Nice course. Lots of controls so was basically a long middle. Scrapped around for a tiny bit at a few points but only one mistake more than 30secs. Took it pretty chill cruise pace - definitely worth the trip in :)

Reps 1,3 and 5 into a driving headwind and 2,4 and 6 into a cushy tailwind so the paces fluctuated a bit lol. All strides were into the wind so just made sure the technique was good, wasn’t bothered about the speed. Good sesh. Shan weather

Easy recovery getting last week out of the legs. New shoes were top notch, very comfy. Got soaked at the end which was rude. Every recovery run with music in is one step closer to achieving my life goal of being able to recite the whole 2.5 hours of Hamilton.
