Ochils 2000s - from glendevon to stirling uni Absolute belter of a day for it but was kinda surprised at how much snow there was at the start - fun times. Really enjoyed up the climb through the trees up to Innerdownie and then nice and easy over the next tops. Snow made king's seat a bit slippy. Still glorious weather and time flew by and we were up on ben cleuch at 1h55m. Next two were negligible and then was a bit of a slog up to blairdenon through the peat bogs. Quite tough going over to Colsnaur but really enjoyed the descent down to Menstrie - fun paths to run on. Snow was totally gone by now and was feeling good - had gone little and often for food which worked well. Dumyat was just a bit of a routemarch due to its steepness from this side - we made great progress though and were there in no time. After consuming copious amounts of second hand weed/cigarette smoke from those on the top we took some pastilles to get us home. Descent was enjoyable - forgot how technical the woods were. Felt pretty good when we finished. Obviously tired but in no way felt like I was near bonking or being spent. Longest run for distance and time ever so fun stuff. Very glad we did it - nice to do something a bit different before a return to the flatlands next week!

Hill reps 4x60s, 4x45s, 4x30s, 4x15s Big day tomorrow so short and sweet today in amongst the event. Bit enthusiastic on the first rep but that always happens with hills and soon settled into a good pace. Ran in the terrain rather than the path which was a nice extra factor. Really worked hard and was boiling by the end - taps aff for the last 2 sets

40+mph wind so did the classic golf course then canal tempo before back through parkley. Some of the easiest 3:34mins/km you’ll ever see. Last 4K back were infernal - bent double and couldn’t see a thing cos of dust from the fields

Grace made me watch pretty little liars. Unparalleled levels of trash tv - was an absolute riot

bedroom window was getting pounded with snow when I was getting changed so went for jacket as well as helly and top - felt like I was in a furnace by the end - layer overkill

leisure centre ints the 2s, 1.30s, 1s one - can't be bothered to write it out. Had another snowstorm during this which was fun. Paces were mostly good and was working how I wanted to be. Kept on getting the downhill bit as my recovery which was low-key annoying. Really gurned it for the last rep - not too sure why, just feeling like a chad I guess
