SLR - forgot to pause the watch at SJP then discarded run to there so have added manually. Was absolutely not in the mood for anything quick so found 10 like-minded others and headed to the hill and the grantchester figure of 8. Nice chat and all - had to shorten the route cos it turns out it’s a private road but the farmer was perfectly nice so can’t really have too much of an objection there. Did some John’s laps with blacker afterwards which was nice. This is my biggest week ever which is fun. Easier week next week - got cuppers on Saturday.

Eddington Parkrun - 2nd Decent group of lads running this which was nice. I took it out and managed to go the wrong way, taking a pretty insignificant shortcut at about 1 mile in. To be fair, there was next to no indication and no marshall there but this was no excuse for me to not feel the full wrath of the 6mins/k brigade as they berated me on their way past. Anyway, because the course was three laps there was a lot of overtaking and dodging which was a bit annoying. Got overtaken by Ewan at 4.6k and he held on - little bit cheeky but ah well. Got 5.01k anyway so no harm done.

1 on 1 SnC session at Sports centre. On the Uni's performance programme so this is part of that. Bit of a wake-up call in certain areas. Defo going to be focussing most on leg strength for this which will invariably be a good thing.

Churchill ints 2x5x~3 (1min rest between reps and 3 between sets) This was a really good sesh. Decided to not mince the first rep like some did and just found my pace - sitting comfortably around 3:05-3:10s with consistent reps. Honestly just started to feel better as it went. Felt nice and strong and was able to keep up with Jamie for the last rep, which we did at 3:01s. Great stuff. So nice to do a sesh in the cold as supposed to the sweat-fests we've been enjoying as of the late
