Run 30:58 [3] 5.57 km (5:34 / km) +116m 5:02 / km
ahr:139 max:165

Plan was to go running hill intervals again, that didn't happen. I was already in a bad mood when I went out, and after doing my 15 minute warmup it started to rain. Fine I thought, rain hasn't stopped me before. I get to my hill to find that there is already a group of people doing intervals on it. That's the last straw for me, I kept on running for another 15 minutes in the pouring rain.

Orienteering 44:32 [3] *** 5.14 km (8:40 / km) +167m 7:27 / km
ahr:158 max:176 spiked:11/15c

A decent race. The terrain was pretty hilly and detailed. I had many good legs, but I don't feel like I was running as fast as I should have been. I think I should have simplified the legs more than I did. Overall, a good race with few mistakes and lots of good orienteering. I need to work a little bit on my focus.

Orienteering race (Relay) 34:28 [4] ** 4.66 km (7:24 / km) +120m 6:33 / km
ahr:172 max:183 spiked:12/15c

Relay race, I had the first leg. The mass start went really fast, I was able to hang on to the leaders quite comfortably at the start, I had full control over my position and forking. However, the terrain got the better of me and I couldn't hang on. The orienteering was quite easy for this race, good visibility and nice contours made it easy. However, the marshes, hills and general vegetation made it a very tough race overall. I felt weak physically before starting, and that might have something to do with the race I ran yesterday. Overall, a decent race for what it was worth.

Orienteering race (Long) 1:07:38 [3] 9.18 km (7:22 / km) +373m 6:07 / km
ahr:161 max:181 spiked:11/12c

A long race through some of the toughest terrain around. Two very long legs with a left-or-right route choice on trail. The other legs were mostly on hills or with trails to use. I felt pretty slow while running, but everyone I talked to felt the same way. The technical part of the race was good, I made several good route choices. I didn't make any big mistakes either. So overall it was a good race, even though it didn't feel like it. P.S. The top of the map is cut off, but I followed a trail to control 9.

Run warm up/down 23:38 [1] 3.34 km (7:04 / km) +71m 6:24 / km
ahr:140 max:162

Cool down after the race with my girlfriend. Really relaxing and a good cooldown. It might have been too long for me, as I was really tired at the end of it. It could have been caused by something else, but in the future I will try to reduce my overall activity on a race day.

Run race 14:00 [5] 3.22 km (4:21 / km) +76m 3:53 / km
ahr:180 max:188

I did a local terrain race today. It was a very intense race, with a high pace the whole way through. I was pleased with my performance, I was at the front of the pack the whole way through. In my heat, I came in second place only seconds behind the winner. Overall (for mens) I came seventh. It was a good race with a good result.
