Long and relaxed run. Was heading into the woods to do a course, but once I went off-road the snow went up to my knees so I just turned back and kept myself on trails. I felt strong the whole way through, and going so slowly certainly helped me feel pretty strong the whole time. Nice session, if not a tiny bit boring. (8/10)

7x6min, p:1min. I felt surprisingly strong both before and after doing this session. It sure was the longest set of intervals I've ever done, so I was pretty careful going into it. The snow and dark made it a bit challenging to run as fast as I could, but I think in the long run it was good that I couldn't push myself too hard. Very good session (7/10)

Simple morning jog. Had to work a bit to convince myself to get out the door, but once I was out it was a good experience. My legs were certainly sore to start out with, but that went away over time. Towards the end I actually had to make a conscious effort to keep myself from going too fast. Can tell that this evening's training is going to be rough though, not sure how my legs will hold up. (7/10)

"Warmup" for the course, although I certainly wasn't going very slowly. I felt pretty weak for this one, but that could easily been because I was surrounded by tons of really strong runners. I got up there alright, but tomorrow's day of no running is going to be nice. (4/10)

First day of snow, obviously means we have to run a forked night-o with no markers on the controls :). Had a really tough time on the first 3-4 controls, but after that I got into the flow and started feeling much more confident. Still wasn't going too fast but I was going at a pace that I could confidently find the controls. (5/10)

10x2min, 1min break. Felt nice to get out and run some higher intensity after such a long time. My body felt pretty good, but I noticed my heart-rate was a bit higher than I would have typically expected to see. I'm sure that's because of the long break I took, but I'll keep an eye on it. Body felt pretty good, I feel the strength from yesterday but overall I feel good. (6/10)

2x8x400m, p:1min, sp:4min. Took quite a bit longer for me to get down to the flat area than I thought, so this ended up being quite a long session. I felt pretty good the whole way through though, I managed to complete the entire set without going overboard. I was still feeling the morning session, and my muscles still ache from the strength yesterday, so I didn't feel my absolute best. I still felt like my heart-rate was a bit higher for the effort I was making. (6/10)

Strength Training 30:00 [3]

Half an hour of strength training. Did a pretty standard list of exercises, focused primarily on ankles, balance, core and a dash of arms exercises as well. I felt pretty good while doing it, but I certainly don't feel strong while doing them. (7/10)
