Wednesday Dec 6 #

6 PM

Orienteering race 49:50 [4] 5.74 km (8:41 / km)

NNC1- Mullochard 9th
Was quite tired beforehand but this was so much fun! Did the long course, and first time in this area, loved it. Absolutely nailed the first half, feeling really confident and feeling like the last few weekends training have really been useful. All going well until #11, which I knew was going to be a tough control, but allowed myself to drift too far right towards the other head torches... kinda lost my focus here, but since it was quite close to the end I managed to mostly keep it together. Spurred on by Jess and Gemma catching me in the final open section :) Really happy with my navigation this early in the winter, hope I can keep it up!

Running 20:00 [2]

WU (in the company of a leprechaun and her biggest fan...) and WU
8 PM

Orienteering 49:05 [2] 4.8 km (10:14 / km)

Control collecting with Jess. Not really sure I was actually looking at the map much tho so maybe this should just be classed as running!

Tuesday Dec 5 #

Note

Whoops, unintentionally have done nothing since Thursday. Probably good to have a proper rest and catch up with school work
