Really really fun "long middle" on Lost Lake. The map is really well done, the course was great (lots of "straight is great"), and I was navigating well.

Unfortunately #8 was hung in the wrong place (on a different marsh at the edge of the control circle), and I never found it (I spiked the correct marsh twice though...). I didn't bother protesting, but here are the morally correct results with 7-8 and 8-9 removed:

Nice ride around Lost Lake. Nothing too tricky, but lots of fun flow and some wood structures. Rode almost all the trails, except some stuff down by passivhaus and on the other side of the lake. Also rode some trails that are on the O map but not on trailforks - a little overgrown in places, but definitely ridable :)

Easy run in Ambleside. First time running west (normally head up CapPac) - the seawalk is pretty nice, and delightfully dog-free for large parts of it :)

Alice Lake area of Squamish. Manboobs, Cliff's Corners, Rollercoaster, Lumberjacks and Jacks were the main trails. Cliff's Corners and Rollercoaster were both super fun. Getting a lot more confident going over little drops, and think I'll be much better at Manboobs next time I do it.

Bumped into Gary Robbins, who was setting up an aid station for the Squamish 50 orientation run. He's moved to Chilliwack now, so we probably won't see as much of him. Hopefully he'll come out next time we run at Sumas though.

Shannon Falls, Sea to Summit, part of Al's Habrich, then back to the gondola.

Sea to Summit is still a fun trail, with nice runnable sections between the silly steep stuff. It was way busier today than when I did it last, but everyone seemed happy to take a little break and let me pass. I forgot to take any calories with me, so was flagging on the way up Al's. Decided to turn around at marker twenty-something to make sure I could still enjoy the descent without bonking.
