Downhill at Cypress with Carla and Sheri. Sheri's quite novice, so we did a few warmup laps with her, then split up a bit - we'd cut down a black, then meet Sheri where it joined up with the easy run again. Sheri improved really quickly, so managed to do some blues later as well.

Snow was excellent, and there was lots of unskied powder in the trees, and even at the bottom of Rainbow. Top Gun was super fun.

Excellent day at Whistler with Kate, plus a few runs with Moira at the end. Surprisingly good snow, with 20cm of fresh powder. Did lots of fun tree skiing, plus one bit of "more extreme than we expected" tree skiing. Stonkingly good day, topped off with a visit to PureBread - I had the most amazing chocolate cookie / salted caramel sandwich, and they gave us each a loaf of free bread. Score!

Generally very soft, with skis sinking over an inch into the groom. Started to head up Upper Telemark, but that was somehow just pure ice. So stuck to the lower trails. Started to firm up towards the end, making it easier to go fast. Lovely evening for it.

Continuing my easy week with a WET at Granville Loop. First time I've run on this map, and it's really fun (except for a few impassable walls that weren't on the map...).

Easy run around campus in the sunshine. Checked a couple of new control locations for Sprint Camp as the UBC permit is even more restrictive than in previous years and I've had to re-plan some of my courses :(
