Checking the upper extension to the LVAR map. We've connected the existing map to Brian's new one of the Mushroom area on Seymour. There's some really nice sections up top and in the in-between area.

Today I was mostly making sure that the trail network in the in-between area was accurate. Found a few little trails around that aren't on the strava heatmap, and verified the rest. Also found a trail that went over a 15m high cliff. North Shore bike riders are crazy.

Quick lap of Bobsled before mapping. A bit wheezy on the way up, as I'd forgotten to check the AQI before setting off; the high-level smoke has started to descend, and we're at 100+ :( One lap will suffice then...

Brief Rice Lake updates. They've been doing a bunch of work to remove the smaller trails and keep people on the same single loop.

Some trails are completely gone, and some have changed from distinct to indistinct. All of them have lots of barriers (deadfall and boulders) at intersections with the main trail. One boardwalk has been completely dismantled, leaving a 50m marsh section. Quite a few footprints in the marsh though, so that trail may continue to remain viable for a bit longer.
