Orienteering race 18:00 [4]

Stage 5 at 'west side'

The Quad now has a HUGE Haematoma and has stiffened up substancially since stage 4, limped to warm up and it slowly got a bit better in the race however not back to normal running..... :(

On completely different note, my orienteering in the first 13 controls was messy!! lost about 2mins, but carried on with the show..... turns out i wasnt as far behind as i though.... only 1min

Not Leader in Yellow jersey now after this stage but that was what i expected with the sore leg and tired state....

Stage 6 at EIT, knew thsi would be tricky as i am soo tired and cold and leg was REALLY sore however i think this slower pace helped as i didnt make a huge mistake i only lost about 10sec after the compulsory chute and tehn 20 on 18 where i ran right past it to number 8. Managed to not let anglea past which i guess is good, however I am now 2nd over all.

Pretty happy with that though really as i am normally not very consistant....and i was very preoccupied with helping out.

Warm up and warm down for all three races plus control collecting for all three races.

Orienteering race 14:00 [5]

Stage 2 of STB, average, made two mistakes worth 20sec each

Orienteering race 17:00 [5]

Stage 3 of STB at Mason De Sante, had 3 pink blocks on winsplits which were matching where i really did loose time, but had a clean run in the trickiest bit so gained 1min 30 on the field....1st place

Te Mata PEak Stage 4 STB, started off well, but then buggered number 6 by 30secs on others times... then was too low on 7 and lost 10sec then on the way to number 8 was where i bailed and landed on a log, QUADRACEPS First and got a dead leg, hobbled the next few legs but got it warm and mananged to run again. The rest wasnt too bad. FUN MAP!

15min jogging warmup and about 10 warm down. i did collect controls too which was a bit extra.

Stage 1 of STB, The first loop was really messy :( then as i got into it it got better..... came 5th, went piret,laura,angela, elise then me.... oh well at least i didnt mispunch

Run after work and after having a rest.... Ran through the reserve and then along keith sands reserve to plassey then through anderson park along the stream to crosses road, back along napier road, through the domain then the primary school, along joll and through the reserve at the back of our house....nice run, not too hot, little bit drizzley actually

Run after work, this whole run was such an EFFORT! so hard and im stuffed ttoday. Lucky i didnt get time to go to athletics tonight to do a 3k PB as i doubt it would have happened...

2.13, 2.51, 2.19, 1.57

All with roughly 1 min recovery jogging inbetween, would have liked to do more but didnt think they would be that short....better than nothing i guess
