Run into the map sneaking around the film set, then run back after

Orienteering 20:00 [3]

Probably about 20min training from rimmer road carpark... was quite good, got given a map with one control and had to go ad get that, then when got back map was taken off us and we had to draw the leg on a blank piece of paper for our partner to then go and get. I think i remembered the first one quite well, Kate got it ok, then we did the same exercise another time and mine wasnt so good...

shoes: Innov8 X-talon

Relay - Leg three, pretty good run, bit tired from the rest of the races, went out in third came back in 6th, however i had nick hann, carsten and tim roberston running me down, i think that nick even caught and overtook greta in the lead too!
Mad my first ever 90deg error and then lost about 30sec at the 2nd to last control

Orienteering race (Nats Middle) 48:00 [4]

Race was going well, not super, some messy controls but no real time lost then coming to the control before the spec i pulled up WAY too short...im talking like 200m ,.... dont know what the F i was thinking and then what happened from there, think i paniced, but then stuffed up a few controls later on going to 22 before 21....urg! i was leading by a good amount before that first mistake...

Orienteering race (Nats Long) 1:16:37 [5] 7.6 km (10:05 / km) +495m 7:36 / km

Long distance, not really clean, lost about 30sec at 4, then at 9 i lost over a minute, coming into the last loop after the spec i was shaky on all of them loosing about 2min on the second to last control! eeeek pretty epic map and race ...

10min warm up and 5min warm down

Orienteering race 18:00 [5]

Nationals sprint at Kristin School, was havinga really good run, took the worst route to number 7 (long leg) but still kept the lead, then held it for a few more controls, then made an error on number 12 where i went between the wrong two buildings. From there it was ok then i really got stuck where the map was wrong and number 18 was up above the building, lost about 1min or more there then 19 alos the same story. Apart from those dodgey areas of mapping and the one i stuffed it was ok running wise.
