| Ran Blue course at Middle Crow's Toe. I went pretty easy, which caused my brain to relax, as well. After losing time in hesitations early in the course, I buckled down during the second half and navigated pretty well. My calves were sore before the run, but my legs felt reasonably good during the run. |

| Rode from event site at Middle Crow's Toe to Laramie, via Telephone Song map, where I got a bit lost and ran afoul of a huge flock of sheep and their sheep dog guardians. After overshooting and a bike whack over a rocky ridge, I rode through some sagey hillside and down to an at-times-faint single track trail, which got really sandy down near the bottom of the slope, where I had to push my bike a fair amount. I eventually got on roads and cruised the last few miles into town to meet Terry and Louise. |

| I ran the Prolog pretty cleanly, but my legs felt tired, especially toward the end of the course, and I felt like I was moving slowly. I was 3rd behind Leif Anderson (18:36) and Robbie Paddock (19:17). |

| Ran the Stampede at the Rocky Mountain 1000 Day. I felt tired, but not too tired, and I finished 4th. Eddy Bergeron won and was about 2 minues ahead of me. |

| Rode at Tolt McDonald Park with Stephen and some of his co-workers. The park has a sweet trail network once one ascends the steep slope. There are trails of all sizes. It would be nice to have it mapped for mtb orienteering. I felt pretty good today, although I was clumsy from being out-of-practice, and I bumped into several trees. My right palm (thumb pad area) got sore, and it felt as though there was a lump in the Spenco glove, but I don't think there really was; I have no idea why my palm got sore. |
