| Sage Stomp middle distance at Red Plateau. It was a good run, with just one medium-size mistake. I felt like I could have run faster, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to stay in control in the vague or complex parts of the terrain. |

| Late night run around the neighborhood, through Good Shepherd to Wallingford, around the Hamilton block for old time's sake, then back home via GS again.
I've had some twingyness behind my knees--especially the right one--yesterday and today. I don't know if it's from running or from stretching or from something else I'm not thinking of. It's similar to but not the same as my long-standing left knee injury, which seems to be doing absolutely fabulous. If I ran with regular form and not too fast or with too much leg extension, then there was no pain, but if I overextended my knee joint (especially the right), I'd get a zing of mild-to-moderate pain, which felt like the plucking of a string (tendon/ligament?) I hope it's okay this weekend at Sage Stomp. |

 | Running - Road / Track (some grass, too) 1:19:55 [2]10.31 mi (7:45 / mi) +140m 4:37 / km | |

| Ran down to Green Lake and back up with Maddy (25:10, 3 miles), then ran N to the lake, down Ravenna and through Ravenna Park, along the BGT to Meridian, and North home via Good Shepherd. My route.
Both knees hurt some: my left (rear medial hamstring tendon attachment--the injury) to start with, then both knees (rear lateral hamstring tendon). Toward the end of the run, the knees hurt less and my right hamstring muscle felt sore/crampy. Wow--either my legs are really screwed up, or it's just training increase pains. I prefer to believe the latter, but either way, the run wasn't a lot of fun. I did some stretching when I got home. |

| In Millbrae: Ran out the Sawyer Camp N. extension and back. My legs felt good, although I had some knee/hamstring pain toward the end as my legs fatigued. |
