O training 35:30 [3] 5.65 km (6:17 / km)

Training around La Trobe, set by Will.
Map memory, over the two levels, this was great training- this is something that we should do more of.
2 PM

O race race 18:33 [3] 3.8 km (4:53 / km)

The last of the Sprint into Spring races. La Trobe uni map. Super hard and confusing as it was set over two levels with an off set upper level map off to one side with controls going from one map to the other, over two levels.....Sucked a fair bit of brain power :)
I didnt have a great technique when switching between maps, I was just using the big land marks, but others successfully used the numbered stair system.
Luckily still won the day though. Vic Sprint champs tomorrow.

O training 24:30 [3] 4.0 km (6:08 / km)

Sneaky new map down on the peninsula, lots of long grass and grass seeds but a great open sand dunes area. Had a quick run around with Aston Will and Akexandra.

running race 11:48 [3]

Eureka Stair race.
88 flights
5th overall
very interesting race when you have never done stair work, walking was definitely quicker for me, 2 steps at a time, than trying to run! ( could'nt have even if had wanted to though!) would be good to have stronger quads and right arm next time :) would like to have another go next year I think. worth it for the view!! Jimbo started about 30 seconds behind so that made it more fun!
11 AM

running 1:09:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:36 / km)

Ran home from out heidelberg way where we dropped off Milla for a trampoline party (looked like so much fun!)
Along the darebin creek bike path and through Darebin park, I was feeling really good, no soreness from the morning suprisingly.
The new bridge, not yet open, has been really sealed off by the workmen I couldnt even climb the fence :( so had to run the longer way home through alphington, still felt good though, really nice for a change.
Need to do some long runs for january
