O race race 1:02:25 [4] 10.67 km (5:51 / km)
shoes: NVii prototypes

Vic Long champs near Chewton.
Had tummy grumbles so was a bit out of sorts beforehand but had absolutely no trouble out there. Physically felt really good, tried to push it up the hills even, and when I took my many track route choices , I tried to really put my foot down.
I made a few small errors, like stopping short on 4 and 5, but I think I probably lost time by taking track options instead of maybe going straighter on some, i was just feeling mentally lazy!!.
I have done something to my R ankle as I had a heap of trouble trying to run the track leg 9-10, it really hurt, was ok in the forest though.
happy with the win.
Belinda was very close, and Aislinn only just off an international flight home with heaps of recent cycling in her legs, I'll take the win while I can!!!
Great area.

running race 14:39 [5] 3.84 km (3:49 / km)
shoes: NVii prototypes

Athletics Vic Club relays.
Womens Div 1, second leg for Collingwood.
One lap of the Tan, gees this hurt for the first 1km.... I was in a world of slow sluggish pain! But it got a little easier 1-3km( once past the Anderson st hill) and then the last part was just trying to hang on. A bit disappointed

running warm up/down 40:00 [3] 7.3 km (5:29 / km)

3km warm up, 4.3km warm down
The race was on a gravel track, I think the NVii's were a good choice, I hate gravel

O training 1:05:00 [3] 10.5 km (6:11 / km)
shoes: NVii prototypes

Training at eaglemont flats set by Nathan, good to see a better turn out. Was a fun run out the river doing a relay type course, coming back was just a run as too dark for me to read the map. Went to some bits I haven’t been since I used to be into mtbing.... good fun

shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR3

running intervals 20:00 [5] 4.81 km (4:09 / km)
shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR3

A great mona session

(2x90, 4x60, 4x30, 4x15 with equal secs to rep in between as a float)

With Karen on the oval and park around Hawthorn YMCA, doing the warmup my legs felt terrible but once we started the ints they came good, as they usually luckily do. Matched almost step for step until we got to the 30's then I got a few paces in front each rep with karen still floating harder than me. Next week I am going to try to float harder but keep int speed....

running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Next time doing intervals here in Hawthorn I will NOT park the car out the front of the Spanish Churros cafe..........

10 mins of glutes/core/quads
15mins on the stair climber - nasty nasty machine
4 PM

running 50:00 [3] 9.2 km (5:26 / km)
shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR3

Vey slow cruise around the boulevard to the bat park and up through Willsmere, took some old sprint maps with me and looked at those. Accidentally grabbed one of Mikkels split level La Trobe maps with about a million artificial fences, far out, not the easiest for a nice little run in the sunshine :))))
